Wynter Violet took her parents by surprise and arrived at 27 weeks gestation on December 24th, while the family was in Vancouver to celebrate christmas. Weighing under one kilo at birth, Wynter did amazingly well and after 3 months in the NICU she was able to go home March 28th. Big sister Poppy was born at 24 weeks and these girls are exactly 9 months apart. Mom is a super hero and is doing an amazing job juggling two babies! Wynter is very unlike her sister. She certainly made me work hard to get her posed and sleeping. You would never know by these images, ha ha, but mom can vouch for how much of a hot mess I was. Wynter is a very light sleeper and any little discomfort wakes her up. Poppy was so patient and for a one year old did so well. She is a very easy going baby and super smiley. Thank you Misti for making your way down to me so I could capture these special memories for you. I am sure in a couple years you will need them to remind you of this time as I am sure it will be a blur. Your girls are super sweet.
