Yesterday couldn’t have been more perfect for my first outdoor maternity session of 2017! The sun was glorious giving such a beautiful light. Chantel and Jeremy met me late in the afternoon to capture images to document their first pregnancy. Chantel is due May 7th making her 34 1/2 weeks. She brought along a couple of different props to use and I love her pink dress ( one I almost purchased last week for this very occasion!) Thank you Chantel and Jeremy for having me capture this exciting time for you. I am excited to meet your new little one this May!
This smiley girl came yesterday for her sitter session. There wasn’t much sitting that went on as Persayus is very much on the move. Mom says she went from not sitting to sitting, crawling and furniture cruising in a very short period of time. Persayus was born 5 1/2 weeks early last April and mom was the lucky winner of a session I had donated for a challenge the nicu was doing. Kangaroo care is when a mom (or dad) spends time skin to skin with their baby. It has many benefits not only for the baby but also the parents. For every hour of skin to skin time, parents could enter a ballot. Persayus is super happy and has a mischievious side to her. We no sooner set her down and she was giggling and trying to get away. Big brother Ajax joined in on few images too. I love the one of them together. Thank you Rachel for making your way down to my studio. Your children are beautiful. Here are a few from our session.
I am super thrilled to share these images of Lily. To be honest, I don’t usually do photos at this age, but after today I may rethink that. Lily was born on December 31st weighing 7 lbs 13oz. At 10 weeks she is just shy of 12 lbs and oh so super cute. The one thing about this age is their little personalities are starting to show and babies give great eye contact. I got a few smiles but once my camera was up she got shy. Lily had a brief little sleep and with very slow movements I was able to capture and image that looks like my signature newborn image. I think mom is just a little excited about it too! Thank you Megan for bringing Lily to me today!
This handsome baby boy came to see me today and was one of the easiest littles that I have ever photographed. Nash John Windsor was born on March 6th, just over two weeks before his due date, and weighed 7lbs 10 oz. He is the first grandchild on both sides and his parents, and grandparents are just smitten with him. Nash is super snuggly and let me work through his images in under two hours. Thank you Abbie for having me document these special memories for you and to Grandma for joining us today. Nash is such a sweet baby. Here are just a few from our session today.
On March 26th this sweet handsome little boy will be turning one. Kaden came to see me in my studio today and we were able to get some great images. He is very smiley, has amazing lashes, and although not walking, he is super fast at crawling. He also does a little slither move too. I have known Kaden’s grandma since way before I had my own kids and actually remember when Kaden’s mom was just a teenager (even if she doesn’t remember me ha ha). We added a cupcake smash at the end of our session and Kaden certainly figured out quickly that he loves cupcakes. I have to admit, mine was pretty yummy. Thank you Brianne and Kyle for trusting me to capture Kaden’s one year memories. Here are just a few from our time together, Enjoy!
