This morning I got to spend some time with the sweetest family of boys. They came to see me for Drew’s 6 month photos. I first met this family two years ago when middle boy Jack was 6 months old and was happy to be asked again to document some milestone memories. Will is now 4 and such an easy going boy. Jack, at 2 did very well, and Drew was a sweetie. Once the older boys were finished Dad took them to the playground across the street from my studio and I was able to spend one on one time with Drew. At 6 months old he is over 20 lbs, has yet to cut teeth, is pretty smiley, and is not yet mobile. Thank you Courtney for having me capture these memories for you. Here are just a few from our session together.
It has been two years since I have photographed this family and the kids have grown so much. Sheryl and her family are here from Alberta for a few weeks visiting family and friends. Last evening, despite the smokey skies, we met up for a quick family session. It was warm and the sun tried hard to get through the layer of smoke, making for unique lighting. Grandma joined in for a special photo with her granddaughters. A neighbourhood cat decided it would be fun to visit, and he even jumped up on my box as if to want to be photographed too. The girls thought this was pretty funny. Thanks Sheryl and family for having me capture these memories for you. Enjoy the rest of your time visiting.
Sweet little Mila came for her debut photo session this morning. Born on August 1st, she weighed 7 lbs even, and at 9 days old today was a dream baby. Mom says she is a bit of a night owl but that works for me. Mila didn’t cry for any of her session, only made little noises being all bundled up. We were done in just two hours and that included two snacks! She made my job so enjoyable. I would photograph her again any day. Thank you so much Silje and Ryan for having me capture these sweet memories for you. Here are just a few from today….enjoy!
I had the pleasure of photographing this little family today. Tamara and Donny are here from Alberta visiting family (that I just happen to be great friends with), and as I have photographed Donny’s siblings and there families, it was time to capture this part of the family. It wasn’t long ago that my three girls were this little and it was funny to see how birth order really does explain the personalities of the littles. These girls were so much like mine. Zaylee is 6 and you can tell her age by looking at her smile. Nyla is 4, and very comfortable in front of the camera. Zosha is your typical third born two year old. Tamara and Donny are also foster parents to a sweet almost 4 month old little boy. “Xman” as he is often called loves to be snuggled. Due to confidentiality, posting images of him are limited (I did take some) but I love the one of him being loved. What a lucky little guy to be welcomed into such a loving family. Thank you Nana Cheri for supporting our youth Mexico Mission trip this past spring by bidding on this session in our silent auction. Tamara and Donny, your family is beautiful and I enjoyed getting to spend time with your sweet girls.
