• Fall and Winter Sessions Now Booking

    Thank you for stopping by....
    I feel totally blessed by the many beautiful expectant parents, newborns, children and families that choose me to document so many important milestones. Your support continues to amaze me and I am looking forward to another great year! If you are pregnant and looking for maternity/newborn photos I suggest you contact me early in your pregnancy to secure a session around your due date. My new studio, located in downtown Summerland offers beautiful natural light, and a space for tired parents to relax and watch me create timeless newborn memories. I am currently booking newborn sessions from October to March (2017)

Kaden John :: One Year {Penticton Baby Photographer}

On March 26th this sweet handsome little boy will be turning one. Kaden came to see me in my studio today and we were able to get some great images.  He is very smiley, has amazing lashes, and although not walking, he is super fast at crawling. He also does a little slither move too.  I have known Kaden’s grandma since way before I had my own kids and actually remember when Kaden’s mom was just a teenager (even if she doesn’t remember me ha ha). We added a cupcake smash at the end of our session and Kaden certainly figured out quickly that he loves cupcakes. I have to admit, mine was pretty yummy. Thank you Brianne and Kyle for trusting me to capture Kaden’s one year memories. Here are just a few from our time together, Enjoy!

Abigayle Catherine Paige :: 8 Days Newborn {Penticton Newborn Photographer}

Sweet Abigayle came to my studio today at 8 days of age for her newborn session. She has the brightest eyes and was determined to not miss a moment of her session. Even though she was awake she was mostly quiet until I disturbed her with my session plans. Abby arrived a few days before her due date on February 27th weighed 7 lbs 5 oz. She is a great little eater and is most likely up to her birthweight by now. Big brother Jackson joined us today but decided photos weren’t his thing. I love though that he did smile for our family image. Dad and Jackson went for a drive and he had a great nap. Abigayle made me work to get those peepers closed and I am grateful that she did sleep for a bit. My favourite image though has to be the bright eyed one in the fuzzy bear hat! Thank you Alicia and Chris for having me document these newborn memories for you. Here are just a few.

Beautiful pictures. 😊

Sarah & Josh :: Expecting {Kelowna Maternity Photographer}

Sarah is such a stunning mamma to be! Sarah and Josh, along with their sweet two year old Ava made their way down from Kelowna today so we could capture some memories as they await their new little one. Sarah is due in just 4 weeks and they have decided to learn the gender of their baby on his/her birthday. There is no surprise like it!! Ava took a bit to warm up to me but by the end of our time together we were fast friends. She brought along her favourite Moosey and he joined us for a few images. I hear the two are inseperable. I had to ask Sarah if she had done some modelling in the past because she made my session so easy. There were so many images that I loved it was hard to showcase just a few. Thank you to Nana for spending her afternoon on Ava duty. It was a huge help. Thank you Sarah and Josh for choosing me to capture these images for you. I had a great afternoon getting to know you.

Holly Annagail Lynn :: 20 Days Newborn {Summerland Newborn Photographer}

Holly Annagail Lynn is the sweet new baby of Scott and Bobbie. She arrived Jan 29th weighing 7lbs 3 oz. Today at 20 days old she came to see me for her debut photo session. Now to look at these images you would assume that she slept peacefully for her whole session.  She did not. Holly is super sweet but really made me bring out my bag of tricks to get her to appear as though she was deeply sleeping. She did like being wrapped and even though she made me work, the little grins I captured made it all worth while. Holly is growing like crazy and is already on her way to 9 lbs. Her most favourite place was snuggled in mom’s arms near the end of our session. Mom brought along a cute little ruffle tutu dress that Holly did let us use. I have been tempted many times to purchase one and was happy to be able to use it today. Thank you Bobbie and Scott for trusting me with your sweet newborn memories. Here are just a few from today.

Amelia “Mia” Anne :: 20 Days Newborn {Penticton Newborn Photographer}

I don’t think I have ever had a wee client actually slept the whole session! Mia was a rockstar at her newborn session today. I have known Kristie and Jonny since their first newborn session and have been privileged to be asked to photograph all of their sweet babies. Mia definitely was the easiest by far. Kristie didn’t have the easiest pregnancy so really deserves this easy going baby.  Being transferred to Kelowna at 34 weeks found her on two weeks of bedrest. Now, if you have been to the new perinatal unit at KGH you will know, it is pretty sweet! Beautiful, bright, big room and room service! It still is not quite the same as home but Kristie made the best of it, relaxing, cooking her baby, and learning to crochet!  We even got to have a few chats on my work days. On January 27th at 36 weeks, little Mia made her debut, weighing in at 6lbs 8oz.  Having two older siblings though that weighed around 9 lbs, mom and dad thought she was a wee little thing.  I was actually working on her birthday so was able to meet her all fresh and new. Babies born early often get to stay a bit extra with us in the NICU. Mia won over all her nurses and after a 12 day stay she was welcomed home by big sister Zoë and big brother Everett. I am sure they were more excited to have their mama home though. All NICU babies are gifted a quilt which local quilters donate. Mia’s was so beautiful I had to incorporate it in her session. Thank you Kristie and Jonny for trusting me with all of your newborn memories! You have a beautiful little family!
